Overview
Dry Scrubber
GPC dry scrubber is an air pollution control device that removes harmful gases and contaminants from industrial exhaust streams without using a recirculating liquid system.
Contaminated gas enters the scrubber and a dry sorbent (such as hydrated lime, sodium bicarbonate, or activated carbon) is injected or passed through a media bed. The pollutants react with or are absorbed onto the sorbent. The resulting particles are captured in a baghouse filter or collection hopper.
Cleaned gas is discharged to the atmosphere.

Gas treatment without wastewater
Dry scrubbers inject sorbent — lime, bicarbonate or activated carbon — into the gas stream. Pollutants react with or adsorb onto the media, and reaction products are captured in a downstream baghouse filter.
