Overview
Spray Booths
GPC spray booths are controlled enclosures designed to safely apply paint, coatings, primers, or finishes while capturing overspray, fumes, VOCs, and airborne contaminants. Their primary purposes are to improve finish quality, protect workers, and comply with environmental regulations.
How a Spray Booth Works
- Air is drawn through intake filters to remove dust and contaminants.
- Clean air flows across the item being painted.
- Airflow direction is engineered to carry overspray away from the product and operator.
- Paint is sprayed using conventional, airless, HVLP, or electrostatic spray guns.
- Paint particles that don't reach the product are captured by dry filters or water curtain systems.
- Contaminated air is exhausted through filters and discharged or treated before release.
- Many booths incorporate heated air systems to accelerate drying and curing.
Process at a glance
Filtered supply air in, overspray captured, treated air out.
Intake filtration
Air drawn through filters to remove dust before entering the booth
Overspray capture
Dry filters or water curtains capture paint particles not on the product
Treated exhaust
Contaminated air filtered, discharged or treated before release
Automotive spray bake booth
Finish quality, operator safety and environmental compliance
Engineered airflow carries overspray away from the product and operator while clean filtered air flows across the workpiece. Optional heated air systems accelerate drying and curing for production throughput.
Controlled Enclosure
Safe application of paint, coatings, primers and finishes in a dedicated booth.
Overspray & VOC Capture
Captures overspray, fumes, VOCs and airborne contaminants at source.
Multiple Spray Methods
Suited to conventional, airless, HVLP and electrostatic spray guns.
Dry or Water Capture
Paint arrestor filters or water curtain systems for particle collection.
Heated Drying Options
Accelerated drying and curing for faster production cycles.
