Impingement Plate Scrubbers
Wet scrubbing through wetted plates and trays — capturing particulate matter and soluble gases as gas changes direction.

Wetted plate stages — progressive contaminant removal
Overview
Impingement Plate Scrubber
GPC impingement plate scrubber is a wet scrubber that removes particulate matter and soluble gases by forcing the gas stream through a series of wetted plates or trays. As the gas changes direction and passes through liquid-covered openings, particles and contaminants impact the liquid film and become captured.
How it works
Three-stage process from contaminated inlet to compliant discharge.
Wetted plates
Multiple impingement stages with liquid-covered openings
Direction change
Gas redirects — particles impact the liquid film
Progressive capture
Particulate and soluble gases removed stage by stage
Industrial install
Combined dust and gas control
Impingement plate scrubbers force gas through wetted plates and trays. As the stream changes direction, particles and soluble contaminants impact the liquid film and are captured — ideal for combined duty.
Plate & Tray Design
Multiple impingement stages for progressive contaminant removal.
Particulate Capture
Effective removal of dust and aerosols from gas streams.
Soluble Gas Removal
Liquid film absorbs compatible gaseous pollutants.
Robust Construction
Suited to continuous industrial operation.
Integrated Systems
Combined with fans, pumps, mist eliminators and control panels.
